There is much to do in Oklahoma City for activities and entertainment.  There are 3 choices for your conference sponsored group activity: Golf at Lincoln Park; visiting the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum;  and lastly, rafting man-made rapids (must be at least 8 yrs old), kayaking,  ziplining and more at the new  Riversport Adventures at the Boathouse District right in downtown OKC.

Of course, there are many more attractions you may want to visit on your own depending on how far you want to venture out.  If you're a fan of Food Network's Pioneer Woman,  her store and restaurant, "The Merc," is a 2 hour 15 minute drive from OKC, northeast to Pawhuska, OK.  Some days the lodge, where the show is filmed, is open to the public (check ahead of time). If gaming is in your plans, the Riverwind Casino is located in Norman, about a 30 minute drive south from OKC.

Inside OKC city limits, some notable attractions are Frontier City theme park, White Water Bay water park, Oklahoma City Zoo,  The Science Museum (child friendly), iFLY indoor skydiving, Top Golf,  and much more.

If you don't want to venture out driving, put on your walking shoes because there is plenty for you to do and enjoy right in downtown OKC.  The Bricktown district has plenty of fabulous restaurants, a cinemaplex, arcade, tour boats, shopping and more. Vast, a restaurant  located in the Devon Tower  on the 49th floor, has spectacular views of the city (reservations are required). The home ballpark  of the triple A Oklahoma City Dodgers is in the Bricktown district. The myriad botanical gardens and crystal bridge are a beautiful area for a stroll.  Also, the National Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial is downtown.
